Founder of the Company, Chairman of the Board, and Principal Scientist

 

Dr. Haizheng Dang

 

Dr. Dang is a professor at the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He founded the company together with the institute in February 2018 and has served as the company's Principal Scientist since then. Now Dr. Dang is also the Chairman of the Board of the company.

 

Dr. Dang received his PhD in fluid mechanics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Beijing, China in 2004. After that he ever worked as a visiting scientist at Forschungszentrum Karlsruhe (FZK, now KIT) in Germany and as a research associate at CERN in Switzerland. He joined the Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, CAS in Shanghai, China as a full professor of cryogenic engineering in 2009, and since 2014 he has been in charge of the cryogenics division of the State Key Laboratory of Infrared Physics in the institute. 

 

His research mainly focuses on pulse tube cryocoolers, hybrid cryocooling systems, dilution refrigerators, long-life linear compressors, and extremely-low temperature refrigeration cycles in terms of their modeling, improvement, and practical applications. He authors over 150 peer-reviewed academic papers and possesses 120 patents in which quite a few have been applied in practice or commercialization. He serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Elsevier international journal Cryogenics and is the recipient of the Best Paper Award 2018 from the journal.
