This present invention discloses a compact structure and manufacturing method of a U-shaped pulse tube cryocooler coupled with infrared devices. The structure comprises a main base, a compressor, connecting tubes, a phase shifter, a T-shaped heat dissipation supporting platform, a main heat exchanger, a secondary heat exchanger, a regenerator, a pulse tube, a cold-end heat exchanger, infrared devices, a cold shield, a Dewar, and a Dewar window. The coupling structure of this invention can fully utilize the structural characteristics of the U-shaped pulse tube cryocooler, achieving compactness and high reliability of the structure. It has positive significance for the practical application of U-shaped pulse tube cryocoolers in cooling infrared devices.
